Lol, I play a lot of chess with my 8 year old boys and I feel ever so clever when I win. Although today an 11 year old girl set up an amazing defensive line, luckily the end of play bell went so she couldn’t wipe me out.
😀 They’ll both beat the pants off me in later life, so I’m happy to win at this stage. Right now, it’s more about game etiquette and life lessons, such as the one mentioned (i.e. usually, you can’t undo things: you need to pick yourself up, look at your situation, adapt and move forward).
